Programs

Themed Discovery Groups, Interactive evening programs, recreation time, and exploration of the outdoor environment are all essential parts of the learning process at High Trails.  The schedule is full and the days are long - expect to spend most of your time outside. 

Our unique curriculum is called "experiential-squared" : In traditional experiential education, students have class and learn outdoors, while at High Trails, students actually become the lesson they learn about as they investigate the natural world surrounding them.

All aspects of our program aim to build a sense of Community, a sense of the Earth, a sense of Self, and a sense of Wonder for individual students, and for the school group as a whole.  Learn more about these Educational Goals.
